Six Weeks and Fuzzy Locs

I am currently a little over six weeks in my second loc journey and I am at the fuzzy stage.  Keeping a silk scarf on my head at night has been an impossible task.  Thank god for satin pillow cases. When I went through this stage before, I loaded my hair up with product.  A big "no no".  I learned so much since then.  Although the fuzzies are not personally desired by me, it's the stage I am at in my journey.  The bits of grey you see in my hair, well ,they have their own journey...lol.  I have a loose curl pattern and it takes even longer to bud, however, I am learning to be patient and that water is my best friend.  I palm roll, without the use of clips, after I shampoo and condition for maintenance.  Had to give up the clips because they get caught in my loose hairs and make the fuzzies worse for me.  There is not much of a change in my loc appearance at the stage. I will need to update at least once a month or more  to see any significant changes.


Remember that everybody's loc journey is different.  Try not to compare yours to everybody else's.  ☮
